Cardboard vs. totes
Cardboard boxes
- – Buy your own boxes
- – Tape every seam
- – Boxes sag or collapse
- – Haul them to recycling after
Our totes
- ✓ Delivered to your door
- ✓ No tape needed
- ✓ Stack tight, stay rigid
- ✓ We pick them up when you're done
Built for real moving days
Rain or snow doesn't care about your move date. Wet cardboard loses its strength fast — our totes have secure lids and a rigid plastic shell that hold up regardless of weather.
Clean every time
Vacuumed, sanitized, and inspected between every rental — no moisture, odors, or pests the way used cardboard can carry.

I'm Mitchell, and I run ToteRunner out of Grand Rapids. Moving is always a bigger job than you think it's going to be — there's never enough time, and there's always one more closet. I can't pack it for you, but I can take one thing off the list: no hunting for boxes, no taping, no pile of cardboard in the garage afterward. Totes show up, you fill them, I come get them. That's it.
No franchise, no call center — a family-owned operation covering 26+ towns across Grand Rapids & the Lakeshore, which means when something needs sorting out, you're talking to the person who can sort it out.
